Active OSINT Research Privacy

Research, open-source intelligence methodology, digital investigation tools, and privacy-first practice for journalists, researchers, advocates, and organizations — focused on ethical, verifiable, and well-documented investigative work.

Approach

OSINT is powerful and it's easy to misuse. The LodgeOSINT project documents the methodology, tools, and guardrails I use for investigation work — with ethics and scope discipline at the center.

Good OSINT practice starts with a clearly defined scope: what are you looking for, why, and what are the limits? Investigations without documented scope tend to drift into areas that can cause harm — even unintentionally.
